FURTHERMORE... Cliff hucking is a relic of the 80s. Back in the day falling off a 100 foot cliff was about the sweetest thing you could do on a pair of 220cm, skinny as an etheopean skis.

The fact that production companies still throw this junk in their videos in the year 2003 only proves that a large portion of our industry is STILL living in the past, regarless of the fact that the FUTURE has already busted the door down, stormed in and taken a crap in the middle of the living room, leaving a sight and stink that no one in their right mind could ignore.

Its high time that people wake up and smell the shit.

Also, I'm not saying every 30 year old Joe Blow, from no where has to stomp all his landings. I mean people ski for fun, and they can do whatever the hell they want with their landings.

BUT, if your a freakin' pro, getting paid to represent our sport, and your dropping cliffs, arms flailing every which way, land on your ass in a big bomb hole, that just wrong. If you are getting paid to progress this sport , and your getting you pics in mags and shit, then you should be stomping your landings, with style.

I dont care if soul bro granola boy wants to ski for himself and land on his back, but pro's should not be doing that. You have to be progressing this stuff.

mabye you need to read my last post again because yes i said that people who ski to put food on the table should have style and should be stomping there cliffs but for whoever else is skiing for fun then who really cares. and i do see your point now(jibtech) and i think we were arguing on slightly different topics. I was talking about skiers as a whole and you more about pros and guys who get in the mags and on film. but skiing should always be about fun and if somebody has fun hip checking a cliff then power to them.
