Flat ground jump and spin

I know there have been threads on this before, how big of a rotation can you do on flat jumping up? Well anyway I was stumbling through videos and came across this Soviet "breakdance" video.

Fast forward to 1:38 and watch the guy jump and spin, any idea how big he is spinning each jump? Looks like 720 to me, that's crazy on it's own, but the fact he does it 14 or 15 times.... crazy. Someone should try to repeat this and make a video of the failure that will commence.

There is also some other crazy shit like spinning on their knees and the bent down foot kicking... things.

Here's the link just incase that embed doesn't workhttp://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=9dtpof17mu

I take it your talking about sans skis?

720. I've done a 9 a couple times running and like using my leg for momentum

I saw a youtube video not to long ago of some martial arts guy doing a cork 10... it was rediculous. He took like 2 steps, used his leg for momentum, and then cork 10'd and landed back on his feet. Crazy shit.

A lot of guys on NS are able to spin 7's off the ground... I have trouble getting more than 630 though

Hahaha i was reading this thread, thinking that you were talking about with skis on and i see all these guys talking about flat ground 5s and i got a bit confused. But yea i can 7 if you are talking about just shoes on.

7 easily...but 9's i can't do, i tried a few times and almost snapped my ankle in half. mistys also off of flat ground.

i can 5 both ways off the ground and backflip and i can do corks/mistys and all that shit off ledges.

dont think i can to a 7 though

ive done 9's and gotten a 10 around but died. its really not hard to do a 720 if you are pretty coordinated.

Get them on a trampoline with out bounce, and then just do it on a hill, preferably into long grass/something a bit soft. easiest ones are front flips(but quite hard to land) and lincolns like run step 90 and use your momentum to flip you.

iv only ever done front flips though properly on flat land, and that was on a hill.

oh shit, i thought everyone was doing these with skis. i cant get past 3 with skis, without im up at 7s.
