Yeah I like watching snowboarding but not the suggested videos on my Instagram that are just lots of flatground butters and spinning around... always from Japan. Hit a rail or something ya know?

could be a cool gimmicky trick but most of these I see are just gymnastics on a snowboard. The snowboarders who think this is why snowboarding is cooler are either 12 or their favorite pro is Shaun white. Personally I still think snowboarding is cooler cause you can grind literally whatever you want.

I have a gymnast friend who can do that while standing on the ground. Wonder when a skier is gonna do that.

The real reason snowboarders do that and not skiers is because skiers perpetuate the stigma that flatground tricks are lame and for people who can't hit actual jumps and rails

I can whip around a flatground 3 (it’s not very steezy) but LJ Strenio did a flatground front flip in Clown School’s Fuck video, super gnarly
