I dunno if it's even do-able, but sometime in the future, woulden't it be cool to take the existing NS.com and turn it into a fully flash oriented thing?

I mean, realtime messaging and online list, easier quick chat, no need for a chatroom server, and the fact that flash is just great......

Just a though I had.

flash is great and all but, for those on dial up it is extremely slow. an optional flash site might be cool but would that take more bandwidth cause i know that was a problem.

well, NS.com is defanately one site i would spend the time to dload......

and the great thing about flash is that you download it once, and then just download the stuff in it when you click it.......

but yea, i have a 56k, and it does suck when the loadtime is enormous......

flash ouldn't be feasable for this site... the message boards written in action script or used in flash are not what you want. flash is great for some site, but for this one, it'd blow.

Flash will probably be used for some future parts of ns, but for the main community. There's not a chance unless there are huge improvements in the way it deals with databases et al.

yea not flash, atleast not this part of the site. i like the standardish format atleast i kind sortafigure stuff out on here, i think the simpler the better, not really simpler but you may know what i mean
