Ok lets clear things up cause I have heard two different things for both of these tricks. A flair is a backflip 180 mostly done in the pipe. A lincoln loop is a barallel roll. Am i right? Im just checkin

Is it cheating if the girl is from another country?

Some one please help !!!

A falir out of the pipe is a lincion 180.

I don;t know if i spelt lincion right but im not a yankee so i don;t care.

so then what's a back 180 on a table?

I lincoln 180 is an Underflip. Dont quote me but I think a Backflip with a 180 over a table is just called a backflip 180!

here it is.........

a backflip 180 on a table is a flair, a lincoln 180 on a table is a licoln 180 (some might call it a rodeo 540), a backflip 180 out of the pipe is a flair but the way to throw it out of the pipe is the same way you would throw a lincoln on a table, which means to throw a lincoln in the pipe you would have to land backwards.

i throw flares outa the pipe all the time and some people say they are underflips, others lincon 180's, but i just stick with flare cause i really don't know what it is. Im gonna try to post some video's in the near future, maybe someone can tell me. If anyone rembers the gravity games, or some other events, candide used to throw a huge flare with a tail grab for his first jump.

You will crash and burn before you fly

123 has it down, except when you throw a lincoln in the pipe you dont turn much, its like 20degree turn, lincoln, 20* turn, just so you land with your skis pointing toward the other wall. If you did it the same on a table then youd land like doing a hockey stop.

no, a flair in the pipe and on a table are both backflip 180s. a lincoln is still a barrel roll...

everyone is making this a lot more complicated than it really is

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

I'm getting really sick of this trick naming stuff. I don't know why a trick would be called something different depending on what type of terrain its on.

Here is an attempt to clarify:

Flair: Backflip with a 180

Lincoln: Barrel Roll

Underflip: 90 to lincoln to 90 all thrown into the blender of confusion.

No matter where you do these tricks, the name stays the same.

crichton was doing this fucked up trick today in the pipe - it was like a 180 to lincoln thing... it was damn cool.

The real question is flair vs. underflip...now, underflip is a 180 into a frontflip (when you come off the lip, lean back, look over your shoulder, and tuck a frontflip) a flair is a backflip with a 180 in the middle (start a normal backflip, and drop your shoulder when you're upside down) as for lincoln loops, they're completely different. (drop your shoulder, no back flip at all)

now....in a half pipe....lincoln loop would be going up the wall, spinning the loop, then coming down fakie...a flair, you go up the wall start a back flip, twist out and land forwards (which may feel like a lincoln loop if you throw it wrong...try going more vertically up the wall, almost ally-oop, not at a big angle (a big angle will make it feel like you flip sideways, which is totally different))...and underflip...almost the same as a flair in the pipe, but you have to spin quicker, the flair you delay the spin more

and for all of you who think a lincoln loop 180 is a flair....you're retarded. a lincoln 180, you do the loop, the finish with a spin. If you spin in the loop, you've made yourself try way to hard to do a simple trick
