They're on the expensive side, but LL Bean makes a darn good flannel. I've gotten 2 in recent Christmases (happen to be wearing one of em right now) and they're great. I rock them skiing all the time.

JCrew, Columbia, Eddie Bauer and LL Bean all make great flannels which will last (nice material, survives hundreds of washes).

Or you can just go to GoodWill, Savers, consignment, or any other second-hand stores. That's where I get most of my flannels.
