So what now... The Flames beat the Wings, and roll the Sharks. The fact that a team so young could have gone so far in the playoffs while defeating some of the most talented teams in the league, let alone make it to the Stanley Cup, I can't make up a good reason not to believe they're the one's that will take it.

When the playoffs first started, I called the Flames to lose in either the 3rd or 4th round on the strength of Kipper and their work ethic. Watching them play as inspired hockey as they've played in the last few weeks though leads me to believe that they really do have a good chance of winning the fourth round. Unlike Anahiem last year, I really think the Flames are for real.

Does anyone remember a time when people were questioning whether Iggy should be the captain of this team? Or after Iggy's slow start to the season, people were questioning his talent. He and his team (yes it is his team), have been proving themselves all year, and it's great that people are actually starting to pay attention.

^ They will beat who ever they play, period. I was at both game 6's against detroit and the sharks. The atmosphere is amazing, and the city is just a big party after. I am hoping for philli to win cause it would be more fun kicking their ass.
