to do an easy flare, come up the wall and at the lip drop your downhill shoulder into the pipe's fall line (not the hills), grab safety and wait for the landing to come... than land.

flare are suppah eazy to do...go to your local pipe and wait till some hotass little ripper kid comes and throws down, when you see this little punkass 12 year old doin better shit than you, drop in the pipe and do a flare, dont think just do...

I just go up to the right wall an throw my head back. then throw a grab in there an then the 180. very easy to do

you don't need that much air at all. You could do one easily with 3 or 4 ft out. If you've ever seen ski movie 2, scott gaffney does them with like 1 foot of air out out the pipe. Just committ like anything. Im not sure if im doing a flare or lincon. I think it might be a lincon, but i never tried one off a normal jump. Anyways, they aren't that hard, and if you eat it, it doesn't hurt in the pipe.

well, unless you land 3ft out onto the deck on your neck and die... or land in the flats on your toes and do a face plant, fuck up your face and need sergery to fix it.... but ya, the majority of the time you don't get hurt.
