It’s kind of ugly but not at the same time, I personally don’t mind the change. The old flag was frankly boring as fuck, some conservatives, especially MN republicans have demonstrated an intense dislike of the new flag. Many of them believe it looks too similar to a few regional Somali flags, but to be honest they don’t look very alike.



The funny thing is that I don’t even think the new flag has been taken very seriously. Anyone’s free to fly the old one, it’s still the official MN flag on its wikipedia as well.



I still think they could’ve done something much better.
