the 185 would be over kill for you. They are made for racers who are carving at high ass speads. The FKS 155 goes to 15. Which would be plenty for you enless your skiing big mountain shit pinning it and dont want a ski popping off so you dont die.
depends if you are done growing or not, but really, i think you would be set we either of them, im 6ft 180-185 and i have 155s and they work fine, i dont ever think im going to have to krank them up to 15, so i say what ever you can get a better deal on
If you can find the 185 for cheaper and you run your DIN regularly at 10 or more go for the 185. Otherwise try and get some 155s. Chances are you could trade the 185s for 155s and cash even.
yea. the 120s would prolly be fine too, actually better cause its got a more forgiving toe piece.
the deciding factor should def. be your boots thou, if you have small ass feet, a 185 isnt too bad. but if you got like 29-30s, theres no way youd want that.
I am not 100% on this, but Im pretty sure that 155s and 185s are completely different. The 185s have the full pivot healpiece and are made entirely of metal. 155s are not as well made (more plastic) and have a crappier healpiece.
Ya thats totally not true. The race stock bindings are the exact same except diffrent springs. THey fucking suck when you pop out though they get all twisted and stuff. But they are the bomb over all. Get the 155 i had some and wish i still did.
the 120's are different though. they have a tow piece that is much more simmilar to the regular bindings. on the 155 and 185 there is not upward release. the 120 can realease upwards.
