I know this is sounds like a really stupid question. but what is so good about fks bindings. i see em sell for alot and i am just wondering what is so special about them.

I bought a pair of P18s slightly used when I was 14. This will be my 7th season of hard skiing on them and they are holding up great.

As others have said they are mostly metal, plus they have the turntable heel which can help save your knees. They also dont really have any problems pre-releasing.

You can read through countless threads just like this of people vouching for how ridiculously strong they are. I've had mine for 3 years, but most people have had theirs for twice that.

They make you instantly cooler. Fact.

Nah, short mount, durability and elasticity is the big plus - I can run mine lower than any other binding I've used.
