FKS Release Issues

So I got some FKS 155s of a fellow NSer and have never ridden the bindings before so I don't know if there working correctly or not.

Now its probably a total retard question but the heelpeices are super stiff to release, like if I stand on them and push down they kinda snap back up etc.

When they got mounted and I adjusted the DINs the springs were super stiff. Just wondering if this is normal as I have never ridden/worked on the bindings before, I'm used to Solly/Tyrolia. I have to push pretty hard for them to go down.

I love the bindings and I love the retention just they have never released on me (heels anyway) and was just wondering if its normal or there kinda beat.

Yup, I'm only set on 7 hence why I'm wondering if its normal, like I said its probably a noob question but they seem exceptionally stiff for a 7.

You mean like you go to release and when your foot comes out the heelpiece stays up?

This is common for FKS style heelpieces and is quite annoying to say the least. As far as it being hard to push down, I have trouble using a pole to release mine too...I usually just step on them to release them, it works must easier.

This happens to me all the time, its annoying to keep putting the heel piece down. Eventually you will get used to it.

Make sure the pivot points where it snaps down are nice and greased up, but in general I find the FKS is a little stiffer on the pivot than a lot if standard heel pieces.
