Fks problem

I recently bought some old 155's off a member here

after being very content with the 140's I had last year.

Upon receiving them I looked them over to see if the dins were all the way down and such. On one of the heels the din indicator is stuck at the highest point no matter how much I turn it either way. Is this a common problem?

any help is greatly appreciated

Can you still turn the screw? It may just be the little indicator that is stuck. You would have to take it to a shop that deals with fks bindings to find out what din it is at. or just do it by feel.

tighten the din screw all the way on both bindings. on the heel where the indicator works just twist out to the desired din and count how many half-turns you've done. then on the other one loosen with the same amount of half-turns and you'll have din set correctly on both bindings

worst come to worst, do the half turn thing, then bring them to a shop for DIN testing just to make sure they are both releasing with the same force since the DIN reading isn't always 100% accurate. if you have a friend that works at a shop, they would probably do it for free.
