Fks pre-release

i just picked up a pair of fkx classics bindings mounted to some rossi pro carvers for 50 bucks, in mint condition. i was able to adjust the forward lean to my boots. indicator between the dots with boot steeped in but with the din cranked way down they still release wayy to easy. they are in fair to nice condition with some small basic wear and tear. does it sound like the springs are shot? how would i go about replacing them? id prefer to not take them to a shop and spend twice what i paid to have them just looked at.

If they're old bindings I would say the springs are shot and you're SOL, sorry dude, it would be better just to buy new bindings rather than trying to go about repairing them.

aghhh dont say that, i was so stoked when i found them. it cant be that difficult to just replace the springs

i'll get one up asap but it is pretty easy to crank the din down up to about an 8 din. i have no experience with fks but my px pivots and axials are not as easy to adjust

I'd put money on the forward pressure being wrong. The spring would have to be really, REALLY shot for you to falling out of them, it's more likely they'd get really stiff instead.

Take a photo of the heel bit, especially the forward pressure indicator, with your boot clipped in.
