Anybody of you ride these badboys in the park. or just in Powder or BC? Willing to put some p18 on my dumonts. I've seen a lot of pros like tanner or tj riding these in the park but i want to hear if anybody of you guys do so.

Actually I take that back, horrible outdated bindings. Buy some jesters and sell me your old 18s.

ever since the first public enemies came out (03/04 maybe?) i have had nothing but fks bindings mounted on my skis. im glad i managed to gather up a good 10 pairs before they stopped making them.

not necessary at all. the ripout problems are mostly JJs with their funny cores andretardedly soft skis like EP Pros and Lizzies

actually..it happens with any wood ski. Even fairly stiff wood skis, like the PE's. Their mount zone is really short, which means when you land, especially switch, you put way more pressure on a smaller area which causes the pull out.

Helicoil straight away is definitely not necessary. Mine have held fine on my Scratch FS, including when my tail got caught inside a box and snapped the ski. And I've seen them hold fine on old Ninthwards which weren't the best quality. If they did rip out (slim chance) you can always helicoil them then.

i would say if they are mounted correctly you shouldnt have any problems. but there is aways that chance that you will. my buddy mounted a pair of p18's on some kung fujas this summer and the heel piece ripped out, then he hilicoiled them and those ripped out. but i use them on most of my skis and dont have prblems with em. and crap loads of pros also do, and i dont think they would if their bindings always ripped out
