FKS hardware...

Ive been sending PM's left and right to people who I know that have FKS/P18 bindings. Why? Heres the story.

While in Toronto, I bought some FKS 120 RACE bindings, for 250$. When I got home, I realized that I was MISSING 2 screws in each heel, and the hardware was made for mounting on a plate, or riser. The screws in the toes arent beveled, they are like wierd, and 6mm too long. They arent the right screws, even if i grinded them down.

I have been emailing them, asking them to send me screws, and they refuse. The say, "Well, why did you buy the FKS if you dont race" and stuff like that. I have spoken to the manager, you name it.

Hopefully, someone on here has a good shop, or has a full set of FKS screws that I can buy/have. I have called all over, since late april, looking. I called Rossi, and they have to be sent through the shop, but, that shop is being a total bitch.

Again, if you can get me some, ill pay/do whatever it takes to get them. Ive been hunting for 2 months, and nothing. Its getting frustrating.

ive called them lots, and they just wont help.

I dont think we should all spam them, if they dont help within the next week, then im game for spamming
 
why, have people had problems with them in the past?

should i try the collingwood/missassagua locations? I drove 4 hours to get these, and I cant even use them!
 
i guess thats what you get when you go to a large chain of stores. I guess all i can do is hope someone on NS has some, or find a shop that can send me some....
 
call rossignol. they've probably got a bunch layng around that they could sent to you for not much money.
 
go to closer store that deals rossi

bring 12 pack (bottles work better than cans).

set 12 pack on counter.

ask for screws.

that should solve your problems.

 
Holy shit man. You may be in fucking luck. Im pretty sure i have like 3 or 4. Let me get to my house and check.
 
my fks box got a hole during shipping from rossi and a few screws were lost im placing an order for some brakes and screws in the near future ill order an extra set and let you know a price......

 
haha, thats a bunch man. I sent proctorjones an email, so we shall see what he has. No sence in you taking time to send me some if they will for free..
 
Dude, I can't even believe the shop is pulling that on you...asking why you would buy those bindings if you don't race? Seriously? Even if you DID race, you'd still need the mounting screws.

Call them until they fix your problem, if the store manager won't help you, ask for the number of the regional manager, just go up the chain of command until you see results, and trust me, if the regional manager has to come down on a store manager for something as trivial as a set of mounting screws, that store manager will get in mad trouble, and he/she should.
 
theya re the right screws(for the most part) for mounting with a plate. I didnot recieve/nor would use the plate. I need the short screws. I called again, and they are going to get the tech to call me tomorrow

If you have not found the screws yet contact Mountain Center (Rossignol) Explain your situation and ask for a FKS screw pack they will send them to you most likely free of charge ask for the warranty dept. when you call.
 
yeah, and im over it. they just wont help. Im going to have to pay somewhere else to send me some.
 
YES! I got a hold of thier tech who ISNT a dick. He had a set of FKS 120's that were being sent out on warranty. He is sending me the screws, the plastic semi-circle, and if he is kind enough any other parts
 
did you complain about the employees? i would if you haven't. if i were in your situation i would still be pissed.

i would say like: your employees refused to give me what i payed for. you're doing a very good job of losing customers so if still want my buisness then i advise you to enlighten your employees. getting what i payed for shouldn't be this hard. i expect decent customer service from the shops i give my money to and i think employees of your shop's quality are unacceptable. you're welcome! (saying your welcome will make him feel like he has to say thanks, which is always funny)
