I need a quick answer and the search bar sucks

is it possible to have xxl fks brakes on 86 mm waist
 
Yea they have a better chance of getting caught and therefore getting ripped off but you can do it. Basically the brakes will be like outriggers and when you get on an edge they will drag...You can just bend them to fit better too.
 
The XXLs are 115mm which is going to result in a pretty big overhang. If you do much switch skiing you'll bend them in no time, and FKS brakes are a pain to replace. Find someone with the narrower brakes and either swap the whole heelpiece or just the baseplate or even just the brakes with theirs.
 
When you go to shop, make sure it's one that sells FKS bindings. Most likely they will gladly trade a pair of 90mm for the 115s. Wide brake FKS are usually in more demand so shops will trade to get their hands on them. Of course this isn't full proof, so you may have to track down someone (try the Sell/Trade forum) who's willing to trade if that doesn't work.
 
i just mounted my 90 mm revivals with xxl fks.. im probably gonna eat shit a lot but screw it. but actually i have no idea how much of a difference it wil make
