so i was fitted to the wrong boot!!!!! now i need to squeeze the proper! boot into these bindings! the only reason i dont want to remount ( dont hate) they are on brand new ID one moguls ski which i saved up for for years, please help ns
It's like max 7-8mm adjustment each way from the middle of the guidelines. You need to remount if you've changed shell size and you want to stay within the guidelines. Best to remount just the heels or just the toes to get good hole clearance. If you remount the toes then your mounting position will move. If you remount the heels then there's a slightly increased change of ripping out the heel.
depending on the arm length tho if you remount the toes and play with the adjustment you can get pretty much the same stance on the ski. but seriously take em to your shop they should be able to help you out better than us
if your shop mounted your bindings for the wrong boots, that should be something they can figure out. either replace the skis, or adjust the bindings correctly, or if need be - remounting and filling the previous holes so the ski isnt affected.
