Hey i got these FKS and mounted them on my 07/08 Line invaders. the problem is i tryed to get the fks with DINS from 5-15 but could only get the 8-18 dins.

I normally ride an 8-9 din and am about 78kg and 6ft

do u reckon if i keep the din on 8-9 it will still work as well. its just i heard the best place is to have you DIN right in the middle of the lowest and highest number for the best ride.

there sick bindings but i dont want my leg ripped off...

cheers

i would recommend keeping the bindings that you have, crank that din up to like 10ish and you should still be fine

Riding within the bottom or top 10% is best avoided, although bindings should be able across the range, it is wise to syay out of the 10%range. So riding at 9 will be fine. 8 will also more than likely be fine, but the are rumours of release issues at the top or bottom of the scale.

keep the din as low as you are comfortable with, assuming you are an expert skier, and have a boot sole length under 330, you should be fine on a din of about 9-10. race stock bindings perform optimally at mid-high din settings, but looks and salomons are, by far, the best for a low din range. i just wouldnt put them at 8

If you want them on 8 put them on 8. The whole "best range" thing is a complete myth. The have to work properly at the whole range.

agreed except i try to avoid maxing out the din range, i've had release issues due to spring tension, on a 10 din binding i've released more riding at 10 then at 8 or 9, so i try to stay out of the top number but going on the bottom of the din range is fine and the top is okay too i just stay away from the highest number possible, just a preference
