So I just received a new pair of skis, and i want to use my old Fks 140 on these, but i just wondered if I could take the bindings of myself instead of handing to pairs of skis into the local shop only to unmount and then mount.
Yeah as long as you have any basic mechanical skill. Ideally you want a number 3 posidrive screw driver but a number 3 phillips works too. Just unscrew the screws holding the bindings to the skis, there is four per heel/toe piece.
so, I remounted the bindings, but I think the shop made a mistake, when I insert my ski boot the boot is a bit loose, not like very loose, but i can move it while it is inserted!
If it's not the soles of your boots, you can adjust the forward pressure of these bindings slightly.
Put the heel in the 'Up' position, like there is a boot clicked in. There are two screws going down to the base of the binding one on each arm, you can tighten to increase forward pressure.
