FIT: Kaos vs. Rampage

Okay so i already know that the Kaos is a wider boot than the rampage but im just wondering in terms of length. If i were to get a 27.5 in both boots would the length of the boot change because of the brand? I have 27.5 rampages now and they fit me perfect besides the fact that they really hurt my ankle bones and i didnt want to get boot work done in that area so i just sold em and i am unable to try on the kaos. i know from searching that the kaos have more volume fit compared to the rampage. so basically what im asking is what are the differences in fit between the two boots besides the more volume in the kaos than the rampage. thanks!!
 
the rampage strikes me as a much better designed boot. it is heavier and a little stiffer I think. if your toes fit into the rampages you will be swimming in the spk's
 
TRUTH- go to a boot fitter... I was went to a boot fitter thinking that i was giong to get rampages but i tried them and the spks on.... heaven... Its really whatever fits your foot better. Rampages are more customizable but still spks are nice. Just put on both boots for like 1 hour and whichever one you like best get! good luck! :)
 
Why didnt you want to get boot work done, if it is your ankle bone that is the problem then no boot you try on will work without some padding or punching to that area. As for your question the two fits are so different that it is impossible to buy one without trying on the other. The kaos fits so big that i can go down a size and still be comfortable where as the rampage i have to get my size or it doesnt fit. Dude just try them on, but serisouly dont be afraid to get boot work done
