to be rivers. and in the summer when ya cant ski why not go fishing. I do

my biggest trout is 8 3/4lb anyone caught bigger than that.

i caught a 31lb. salmon in Manitoulin a couple years back. I had a bruise on my stomach from fighting the bitch!

when we were on vancouver island we were camping on the beach and this guy caught a salmon or something it was so massive. I had a hard time picking it up and it was like 4 feet maybe bigger. i dont like the way fish taste so if i did fish i wouldnt eat it

 
shit boys i grew up on fishin boats...why you think that i would have a name like FISHinSHIT...i really never got into lakes or rivers until i had to move back up to the mountains...lived in Murrells Inlet South Carolina for 11 years...but my dad had 2 sports fishing boats, a 27ft Albemarle and a 32ft. Albemarle...it was so sweet to go out and get to catch tuna, dolphin, wahoo, king mackrel...only pulled two really big fish on the boat...one 406lb Blue Marlin and while fishing off the Outerbanks of North Carolina got a 845lb Bluefin Tuna...that was pretty awesome...i worked on a 120ft HeadBoat named The New Captain Bill for a summer when i was 16...that was pretty cool...but you get some real fuckin idiots out there too...we could take 67 people fishing all day in the Gulf Stream...but 50-60 miles out of Murrells Inlet Jettys...i got puked on so many times it was not even funny...but it is part of the job...when i got out of high school i did 3 months on a commerical fishing boat...go out fishing until you fill up your coolers...at least 5 days on the ocean at a time...it can get pretty sketch sometimes...storms...ya know...but my point is fishing is great...everyone should go...and always respect the ocean...always...

I fish. both my Grandparents live on lakes so I usually go out when I'm at one of their places. Never catch anything really good though.

i use to fish, i got sick of it though. my brother caught a 11pound 6oz trout. its huge, we have it mounted on the wall right next to me

yeah I just sit there and think about skiing. so I'd rather move to whistler for the summer and ski instead of fish.

Fishing is oneofthe funniest things to do. Lets ya get outside,Chill with yer friends. Often tip back some brews. It just one of those things. If you think fishing is dumb, then ya haven't been out and really grasped the concept of it. It's all about relaxing and just chilling.

yeah i fish occasionally. my biggest is a 6pound bass, in a tiny pond that my grandmother has a cottage on. i dont do too much saltwater though, because i dont have a boat yet, but this summer im getting one

hell yeah, fly fishing is the shit. Last summer, on the Au Sable here in Michigan, i caught a 15 inch brown!

i caught some strong steelhead last winter too, those fight so hard.

 
I've been fishing since I could walk. Go to a small handfull of the lakes around Ottawa. The biggest fish I've ever caught was about 2lbs. Awsome sport though.

 
haha!! 15 inche . The 8 3/4lb was a brown trout and it was 21'. I bet some of you guys have heard of lake Taupo in NZ ,well thats where i caught it .I go there every christmas and catch like 10 rainbows all around 4lb. My biggest rainbow is 7 1/2 lb. If i'm fishing for trout I only fly fish. I also definatly sea fish coz i can walk to the beach in 1 min. I do a lot of surf casting Haven't caught any thing really big in the sea. Just stingrays and small snapper. And there is this whicked sports fish in NZ called a Kahawhai they fight like mother fuckers and are easy to catch.!!

me and sickstyle are badass bass fisherman!!! next year were pimping out his little 15 hourse and traveling form lake to lake and going to tons of comps, its gonna be tight as hell

my biggest fish was a 17 and a 1/2 pound northern pike that broke my rod and bit my hand when i reached in to grab it.

haha midwestjibber come to WI!!!! i was sailing and was out on my boat by myself jsut chilling not to much wind so i was just cruising and i was coiming around this dude that was fishing and his rod was bent so far over it was unbelievable he was fighting like mad with it it was cool. then the other guy on the boat reached in with the net and the fish didnt fully fit in the net. i dont know what kind but it was in a lake in northern wisconsin. i have to go on a canoeing trip to quetico and boundary waters in minnesota/ontario and i heard there are tons and tons of fish there.

If you go to the quetico and boundary waters for just fishing your kinda stupid. There isn't much more fish and you can have way more fun just canoeing around and not trying to hit all the fish lakes.

no telejibber we are going for canoeing but the other guy that is coimng is a huge fly fisherman and is crazy about it so he will probrably fish a lot. but it should be cool

 
I am sure he means 28 inche I previously said my biggest was 21 inche but it was acually 27 inche. How heavy was that 28 inche trout?? was it a Brown?? how did you catch it??

yeah it was 28 inches...i caught it in lake champlain with a deep sea spinner bait...it weighed a little over 12 lbs, but it felt like it weighed a ton when i was trying to reel it in....
