Fishing NSers?

any NSers fish? its pretty much the only way i can get over the season being over...just sit back on a beautiful day and play a horrible trick on an unsuspecting animal.

I'm into river trout and bass on the Conn, it'd be sweet to go out one day and throw back some beers; anyone from the upper connecticut valley (i'm by hanover) down? any fly-fisherman want to teach me lol?
 
Ahhh yess im watching the lake as the ice too slowly melts off.

And im gonna keep sitting here untill its free and i can fish.

the shoreline is free for a short distance tough and just today i caught a 12pound pike with my bare hands as they come to the shallows to spawn
 
fishing is fun when you catch stuff but im terrible and have anger management issues so it doesn't always work out so well for me
 
You're sitting next to running water or amongst the lilly pads, how the hell does this bring on anger issues?? I mean I realize it takes skill and patience but geez man if you can't relax while fishing you might wanna talk to somebody.
 
seriously...its not golf where you miss a shot and your game is over; that i could understand.

whats chiller than standing barefoot on a riverbank, with a bottle of harpoon ufo in one hand and a rod in the other?
 
yeah i go to my family's cabin every year for 2 weeks. it's so fun just chilling on a little boat in the middle of a lake fishing.
 
Amen, that's why it's called fishing not catching. I can fish all day and not catch a thing, pulling out snags and rats nests. It still beats the shit out of a day at work or being stuck in traffic somewhere.
 
dude i AM the bass master.
basically as soon as bass opens, thats what im doing on my days off lol.
i prob fished more this year then i skied now that i think about it.
 
I fish for Walleye and Smallmouth on my lake, and occasionally go on excursions for some trout. So far the only thing I caught on one of the trout excursions was a perch the size of my finger. I didn't even realize it was there and I was about to cast again.. haha.. it was a fail. I may invest in some waders this year though so that I'm not the only one left on shore.

I have a holster that attaches to my belt which appears to be a gun holster, but is actually a beer holster. It is the best thing ever for fishing, because you never accidentally kick over your beer when you get excited about something...
 
i commercial fish during the summer for stripers blues flounder and bluefin. pretty awesome shit, crazy stories. good money too, 2 g's on a good day.
 
yeah man, i go fishing all the time, mainly for trout and bass, went trout fishing this past weekend, a little warm though, ill probs go bass fishing tomorrow.
 
I fish hardcore in the summer. Bass, Catfish, and Crappie mainly. I also do alot of bowfishing for turtles and carp too. Just last sunday my buddy and I were down at the park catching carp and stabbing them and throwing em back. Evidently I scared a family of four away after I stabbed a big ass carp that my Jason just landed. Funny shit though.
 
I'm not a huge fan but i like to fish sometimes and I remember one day, we arrived at the lake and I catch two fishes at my two first shots /claim!
