Fisheye lens

Views on fisheye lenses? used a lot in skiing and all action sports.
overused? good effect? hard to watch?

Sick in moderation and if you truly utilize it to it's full potential. Better for filming close though because photography you are stationary anyways and it is so hard to be super close and get good shots with skiing
 
they work for skating when the filmer can get really close. i feel like in skiing, a wideangle is way better and fisheye shots dont work out as well.
 
I film everything In fisheye, it makes it look way more extreme.

I have actually been experimenting with fisheye goggles so my life is in fisheye
 
get a wide angle, they're 10x better, no distortion, nice crisp shots, usually are faster, and have better glass for the most part. I fucking hate fisheye shots on everything but skateboarding. I unfortunately might have to get a fisheye for my T2i because I shoot for skate magazines and that might be the case. =(
 
get a fishy but preferably a baby death! If you get one from opteka its only 100 bucks, and so much better than the shit one i used to one
