Fisheye for optura xi

im looking for a decent fisheye for my optura xi but i have searched and searched and cant find anything! its got a 46mm lens mount and i cant find any fiseyes that size so if you can help that would be great.

Yeah, that's an awkward size. You'll probably have to get a lens with a bigger thread (I've got a Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm that's decent I got for about $120), then use an adapter ring to fit it to your camcorder. You might have to use two rings because 46mm is a bit of an unusual size, but you might be able to find one that will do it. Don't try getting a 37mm lens and fitting that on with adapter rings because you'll get a LOT of vignetting with that.

Oh please, just make sure when you do find all the acessories for you xi to post where you got this stuff from, I can't find a damn thing.

where did you get the wideangle?? i have the Xi and i need a wideangle lens.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

There are 46mm lenses on Ebay. The ones I saw were .42X super wide, which is pretty sick.

might be easiest to just go for one of those cheaper fish-eyes that attaches with the adjustable springloaded clamps instead of matching thread size
