Fisheye for Nikon D40

yo, so im looking for a fisheye for a Nikon D40. the 10.5 would be ideal, but i just dont have the money to drop 600 bills for a lense. any ideas would be great...thanks NS

Russian 16mm 2.8. Comparable to the 10.5 but all manual. Cheaper though.

oh yeah, and i want to be able to auto focus, which makes this decision that much harder...

Autofocus on a fisheye? I have a hard enough time getting my 28-80 to focus on what I want. Good luck with a fisheye.

tokina got a 180 degree field of view at 10mm sot it would be a good compromise ...cuz de ƒ2.8 is great if you shoot in low light and if you want a high deep of field

but i've forgot to mention that the tokina won't fit on you d40 cuz there is no AF motor in the lens

It will fit unless the d40 is af only. My d50 worked with all my old manual lenses.
