Fisheye decision to make

Ive finally found 2 fisheyes that i can order for my cam, my question is:
i have the decision between a .42x angle lens for $27, or a .18x angle for $55.
will the .42x give enough a wide enough shot to do decent follow cams, (ive heard that .3x is a pretty standard fisheye)
what do you guys think, way wider angle for 25 more dollars, or will the cheaper one suffice

Those both sound like terrible lenses. .18 wtf? Get a .3 raynox.

Sounds like these are super cheap fisheyes, their just going to ruin the quality of your camera. Post a link to the fisheyes your interesting in.

And .42 won't be enough. You want .3 or lower.

get a babydeath depending on your thread size. might need a step up or a step down..

if your too cheap for that get a opteka 37mm

ya im new get over it. i was under the impression that .18 means wider field of view, i was told that the lower the number the higher the field of view.

ya except for the fact that you cant get a fucking .18.. that would be like 270 degrees........ my old babydeath was a .3 and if i put enough spacers on it it was 180... which was just so retarted because it looked like crap...

if your really that cheap get a opteka 37mm like i told you

If you want a cheep fisheye check out this one. I have it and it works fairly good. Once im out of school ill post a video using it.
