During the begenning of the season, I got so many problem with my Marker 12 bindings (on volkl Wall) that my seller gave me my money back. Now, I need to buy a new pair of skis so I ask you that question: I have to choose between Another pair of volkl wall or try some fisher addict skis. Which skis would be the better park skis. (durability,price,...)

P.S: Size volkl=169cm

Size fisher=172cm

my size: 5ft6in.

Please help me to make a great choice!!!

Thanks.

172 seems a bit big for you if you are 5'6". also give some more info (where you ski, how much park you do, etc.)

I have fischer addicts and they're a bit stiff for good butters and jibbing but I've heard people have had problems with the walls with the binding heel piece ripping out of the ski...if you have some size I would go with the addicts (the regulars not the pros) I have also had problems with marker bindings...the heel pieces and brakes get super fucked up

yeah I agree. With merker, my brakes get off the bindin three times. After that they gave me another pair of them but the second day of ride, the back part of the binding get off the ski. There was WOODS pieces on my bolt. After that, they decided to give me my money back!

no problem man.

I'm skiing aproximalty two times each weekend in the province of Quebec. In the awsome city of VICTORIAVILLE (42 000 of pop.)

there is a little park with a 25 feet jump and some hand rails.....and boxes....

I also ski sometime at mont Stoneham in Quebec city

My doubt is that I never saw anyone with fisher skis. That's why i'm not sure!

Thanks for your replys!!!

Please!!! I really need help. If you have fisher addict or volkl wall or even if you don't, give me your opinion.

I feel like a poor little boy now lol!

The only time I have ever seen fischers in a shop they were like over 900 bones. Looked sick, stiff as hell, and 172 is not too big for you.

i have this years fischer addicts and i like them alot because they are good for all mountain becasue they still get some reponse while turning so you can carve when not in the park

but i do wich they were a bit softer so could get some better butters goin but whatever i like themm a ton

but all in alll great ski

i ride the fischer addicts pros and i think they're super fun. the 172 should be perfect.

the difference between the addict and the addict pro is the addict pro is a little stiffer....

i ride the addicts and i had the same problem people had with the walls. my heelpiece ripped out and i could see my core rotting inside. one of my bases is coming off the core and my edges are cracked everywhere. i have the 06 models though. they may have made the 07s more durable.

you guys are saying the same thing

i say pick up the walls, and if they have a pair 17_ take that over the 169. Wall's are a true symetrical ski, which means you'll center mount it. If you're any bit of a newschooler, you'll love center mount, you'll still be able to ski the rest of the mountain (only hindered in deep and mougels) but if you're a good skiier, center mount will provide heeps of fun all over the mountain, while being even more playful in the park.

you arn't the tallest kid at 5'6 but do't skimp on the ski size, especialy if you're going to be growing at all. If they make the wall in a 177, it really wouldnt be too bad of a size. I like my skis to be staring me in the eye at least, typically with some reach above to my forehead.

169cm is about 5"6 so that definitely the right size for you i think 177 would be too long especially since you aren't skiing huge kickers.. I wouldn't worry about 3cm difference on a centre mounedt ski.. I never skiied the Fischer but i love the Volkl Wall (I have the 169s too).. Sounds like you had a problem with the bindings not the skis so i'd just get another pair (if you liked them) with Look/Dynastar/Rossi bindings instead of markers..

i have 177 walls and im 5'8" and like 140lbs and they are kinsdaa stiff for me, but i would def reccomend gettin the 177s if you are gonna grow

Lenth is not much importance here, the longer the ski, the more stable you are on landing, the its harder to rotate. I have the addict pro and I have to say its a new concept:perfect twin. Its stable on rails, great in jumps and performs in the pipe. But if you wanna do big mountain, forget it. These skis will sink you

kk thanks for the advices. I'll consider that

but I try the 176 cm armada ar6 of my friend and I got some difficulties to turn with steeze and spin and in Victoriaville, there is not big aire to make huge spins so..... I'm not sure for 177cm.

admain!

for sure dude, demo some skis, see how you feel about lenghts and such... it really is all about personal preference. I've been pretty happy with my move to longer skis, maybe you wouldn't be... always good to shop around and try different things.
