Ive been in the Fish game for over 10 years. This was my old African Cichlid tank from years ago. I will never keep them again, they all end up killing each other. They are really smart and are cool to have but in the end its not worth it IMO.

This fish is actually where I got my screen name from. He would always hide behind this rock and look super suspicious and I would come home and say, "Sup suspicious fish..." and the name kind of stuck so I use it for online accounts.

Here is my old 29 Gallon freshwater tank:

Currently I have the same 55 Gallon as above but with a freshwater setup. Its pretty basic now with only a few fish and I have not had time to restock it. Ill see if I can grab some pics soon.

14257570:WoFlowz said:There are some smaller cichlids from South America besides the ones in Africa. The German rams only get maybe 2inches in size, Bolivians I have get about 3-4. I’ve kept both but I’d recommend the German since they aren’t as aggressive a little hard to care for the Germans but they were pretty easy compared to my mudskippers in my other tank. There’s also different variants or maybe even different species of German rams they come in all different colors too

14257739:SuspiciousFish said:Ram are fun to keep. They are really smart fish and always up to stuff. They are kind of fragile though so you need to know what you are doing.
Convict Cichlids are pretty much bombproof but you have to keep them alone in a species tank due to aggression. A planted tank with a bunch of driftwood and convicts would actually be a pretty dope setup.

14262373:WoFlowz said:Is that a bass with a gold fish with an archer fish or is that a perch? I’ve never been more confused with a tank in my life
14262380:Evantheshredster said:phaha it was pretty wild. that’s my largemouth courson back when he was a little guy in the tank with I think some sort of mayan and that oscar cichlid. oscar cichlid went ape shit and killed my plecos somehow so I move the bass out to a nice lil pond. it was dope tho he used to eat minnows and shit that i’d hold like 4 inches up. he’s prolly 10-12 inches now and self sustains off shit in the pond. i still feed em for fun tho.
14262384:WoFlowz said:Yeah an Oscar cichlids would do that. The other one that’s kinda a tan color looks a lot like an archer fish to me I’m not familiar with Mayans tho

14262390:WoFlowz said:Yeah that’s them I’ve kept some brackish water fish always wanted to keep them just never had a brackish tank big enougj
14262394:Evantheshredster said:Damn yeah i just watched a video and i guess i forgot how dope that shit is. Coolest setup i ever saw was a guy keeping a disabled brown trout in a temp controlled tank w like a current tunnel and shit in it. fish was missing a chunk out of its side but it got around pretty well.

14262396:WoFlowz said:There was a shop I went to once in Wisconsin and it had a like slanted tank fully custom, shallow, wide and the glass went down diagonally it was so weird but so cool they had some plecos and some other cats and large danios in it. Looked like this
