Fish for fish tank ideas

just wonder what strange fish i could put in my fish tank....its not very full (75 gallons) i got like a gar pike some parrot fish...some catfish...mostly chichlids....... anyone hav any ideas for a Strange fish i should get? thats gettable and looks cool?
 
Dempsy's and pike are where it's at for freshwater. I had both and would feed them live goldfish, it was awesome. The pike would try to get as many as he could into his mouth so the Dempsy could'nt get em, he would swim around with like 6 tails hangin out of his mouth.
 
airawana (i think that's how you spell it). they're sick as fuck. eel like, they eat goldfish, and in their native amazon, they grow to like six feet long. you can buy juvenilles that are about six inches long for like seventy dollars. sooooo dope.

also, alligator gar are straight up gangster. i have a 150 gallon tank and i've had my alligator gar for about 6 years. it's about twenty-six inches long now, and can eat nearly hand sized goldfish. shit is raw.
 
my friend had a butterfly fish there sick they eat crickets off the top of the water...but it got devowered by his other fish was really funny to watch
 
any fish that can eat an adolescent human being whole definitely wins in my book. even if you won't be able to have one that large, just knowing how burly it can be is awesome.
 
i had a bunch of aggressive fish back in the day. Chiclids are pretty cool. I also had a clownknife fish that kicked ass. A few needle-nose gar and a freshwater barracuda. the clownknife was my favorite tho.

yea man. get a real fish. a man eater. i feel the same idea should apply to dogs. big dogs vs small dogs. predator fish vs boring fish.
 
one of my friends had aone of those and his hand sized jack dempsey ate it he took the dempsey out and tried to retrieve the baracuda from its mouth it was funny, had the thing for about 15 mins. cost $35
 
hahah dempseys are beasts even the small ones can rule a tank......im suprised no1 recomended oscars yet

my roomate and I are gonna get a lobster from p chop, but that also means you have to measure out saltwater pH and shit, but its all good cause lobsters as pets are dope
 
i had a 10 inch lionfish. that thing was fucking col until it started eating my other fish. we had a 250 gallon saltwater tank though
 
get an eel dude- i had one it was sick... and those little neon fish are cool too- they glow in the dark... but eels where its at- there are some only like 5-8 inches long
 
im deffinatly gettin nesse and i had an eel pretty sweet fish but my mom didnt like it....it was about 2 1/2 ft long then i had to give it away
 
Go with a SNAKEHEAD if you can they are outlawed in the state of michigan. I had a redline snakehead and in 4 months it grew from 2 inches to 18 inches. I had to get rid of it because it was eating $5 (45) goldfish a day. it was the sweetest fish ever. I also had a arrowana and it was ok but it sucked because they are such a tempermental fish but it does look sweet. A snakehead looks like a pike but has the aggressiveness of a parrana... check them out if you can get them. OH yea they also breath air. Their gills are not that defined so they need to take sips of air from the top of the tank and when they eat the goldfish bubbles and scalles go everywhere!!!!!!! i use to have my whole dorm come down to watch my snakehead feed!!!!!!!!
 
well my parents prefere things that dont eat feeder fish but will let me get them if i have to
 
^i tryed to feed my fish some goldfish wen i had oscars before they one ate like 1 maby or none
 
for some reason i find goldfish awsome fish, throw a few of those in there.. you dont really need to take care of them either.
 
DUDE totally get a plecostomus!

I have one and they are super fast growing algae eaters, strange looking and harmless to other fish.

they get huge or a stingray (freshwater) are sick or blue lobsters r the shit there freshwater but they eat tons of fish they get huge too
