Fish eye lens, Nikon D50

Hey i searched barred for fish eye lens didn't get much info and threads were kinda dated. So I am looking for a good fish eye lens that is not in the $1000 range, more the $300-600 range. That is if a fish eye lens that price is even worth getting? Also i am kinda new to photography and any good retail stores that may be good to know for future reference?

I know this probably should be in gear talk, but i figured it would get more attention here.

thanks, NS

Sigma 17-35mm i used and really liked, but it is not for you if you dont want light falloff or need it for architecture, it does distort the picture quite a bit with a 106 degree angle of view which isnt technically a fisheye but maybe your just looking for a wide angle idk,

but for Fisheye the 10.5 nikon is reallly nice and veryyyy sharp for a fisheye, good for low light shooting hence the F2.8. i havent personelly used this lense i believe it goes for about 600$, ebay you may be able to get it a bit cheaper.

also for some sample pictures of lenses your looking at just go to flickr.com and type in the lense in the group search category and photos from that lense will come up, but remember some of them might be digitaly enhanced photos.
