Here's the official word from Nicole who is at Okemo right now for the FSS...

After a day of tracking the imminent snow storm on weatherunderground.com, Okemo personnel have decided to postpone the Fischer Super Slopestyle Open from tomorrow to Sunday. Forecasts call for 10-20 inches of snow overnight. We've even heard as much as 30" possible.

The delay will allow for the new snow to be pushed around creating a better course and better event all the way around and also ensure we aren't skiing in a foot of fresh during the competition.

As for now, we're hoping for an epic powder day tomorrow out here on the east coast!

maybe cause it was really sticky, and it seriously injured somebody so much that they had to be air lifted to dartmouth hospital.. id say that makes it evil

I didnt know what that kid got hurt on. I wonder why that was sticky and nothing else ? Interesting... my best goes out to that kid and all that know him ...

hes in the hospital right now with brain bruises and some bleeding in is brain good new si theres no presure so they dont have to drill into his head. im prity sure hes in stable condiotion but that shit was wayyy brutal when it happend, he was in alot of pain when he woke up.

parks marks, i think casue it rained so much all the rails in the park were sticky today. I caught on the down rail multiple times trying to spin on, and its usually wicked smooth, the rain is EVIL.

what are peoples thoughts on the rest of the course?

...dissapointed--all the snow last night and they haven't done anything with it to make the course better-alot of snow has blown off revealing the ice that was there previously. Not the best flow ever/odd shapen jumps and the landings are a bit on the short side...hopefully they seriously pimp it out overnight though.
