im in great need of some new twin tips and ive had my eye on the 03' fischer airstyle and the 03' k2 enemy(ill gladly accept any other suggestions). i ski mostly in ontario and quebec and i want a durable ski thats good switch and carves well, i dont need anything for powder. So if youve skied the airstyles or the K2s or something better for east coast skiing provide some input

don't know ur level, but teneightys are allstars on fackie and carving! i promise (even if i ski in BC's, i had the very first 1080. i'm still i love with them!!)

 
these skis are going on ebay right now for under$300 canadian, trust me if i could get the 2005 public enemy for that i would.

yeah! but public enemy are not beautiful! maybe the worst ski ever! K2 last more time because of woodcore. but 1080 are sooooo much fun!!! Ross' scratch BC suck for little tricks but when your high, their weight is very cool to go smooooth!! and they turn pretty good for powder skis!!!!! try Movement, i heard they are cool!!!! but if ur in love with K2, well, i can't fight

the 1080 was what i planned to buy but after i did some research i found that the topsheet chips very easily. i think that the 1080's great but i want a ski thatll last a long while.

my buddy has both the 04 bigstix 8.0 (airstyle renamed for 04) and the 03 public enemy, and he prefers the fischers because they are a little lighter and softer than the public enemy but they actually ski surprisingly similar. Also I am riding the 03 airstyle nt and i love em but the topsheet is like fiberglass or something cause when you get a nick the topsheet tends to tear and peel off(they fixed that on the 04 model) they are both dirty skis though you can't really go wrong either way

 
i rode the airstyle nt's for about a season. they are really good out of the park, but in the park they don't hold a candle to my MSP's

IF YOUR GUNA GET THOSE CUZ OF THE LOW COST U MIGHT WANA LOOK AT THE MAD TRIX. YOU CAN GET UM FOR MAD CHEAP AND R A MUCH BETTER SKI.

 
punk_rider, where are you from, and how do you consider the public enemy's the worst ski ever? they are easily one of the best skiing twin tips on the market right now, along with the 1080's

 
hey! i'm ok with public enemy for skiing! i just say the decoration sucks!!! cars and builbings, on skis .... i'm not fan of the naked girl on my scratch BCs but it looks better!!! 1080 have a problem: they hate SPEED!!! i'm backcountry, so speed is everything!!!

 
take it easy skishore!!! that's my way to talk!!! i found mad trix so heavy, refusing to carve... but i have not the revealed truth in me! first generation 1080 just marked my whole life. and BC rule in pow' and are good in park. even pipe is possible, so ...

 
k2's alright if your getting k2's get the PE or the fujative tho

K2 ALL THE WAY. MY PE'S ARE BOMBPROOF. SO FEW PEOPLE RIDE FISCHER ITS NOT WORTH THE RISK. THEY DONT SPEND NEARLY THE TIME K2 DOES ON PARK SPECIFIC/TWIN SKIS.

thanks for the feedback, what about the atomic tweaksive heard some great things about those and theyre goin for cheap on ebay

^atomics are about the same as the fischers.....pretty stiff, really good on the mountain, but definitely not the best park skis

if you want some good all around skis that perform well in the park and on the mountain pick up some mad trix the new ones or the old ones are just as nice...
