Fischer claims "the worlds only real twin-tip"

line wouldnt take legal action against the add, it would just be enforcing its patent, line ould end up getting money for every fisher addict sold. then again they ould do the same to atomic for the triplet urban, but atomi doesnt claim to have the worlds only real twin

i didnt watch the video or read all the replies. how ever.. i have this ski.. and the tip on the back is HUGE. the rooster tail this thing threw up was rediculously huge. PS the skis are horrible.. break down in a month of ridding.

no, your center of gravity is always changing when you ski no matter what, when going switch or forward

who the fuck cares that on their commercial it says the only true twin tip....who the fuck cares if you like the ski buy it if you dont then buy something else chirst

the white, then orange 1260s were symmetrical. as far as i know, there have been no other symmertrical skis since, until the invaders came out, and now the addict and atomic urban triplets. the mad trix were not symmetrical, although the current ones are mounted at center. the 1080 was never symmetrcal; they just flipped the graphics to try and make them look cooler. as far as line's pattent, i think it could definately be enforced. is fischer actually going to sell enough pairs of addicts to make it worthwhile to line? probably not.

holy shit dude ive been to that resort its pretty sick its called Obertauern (i think) in austria....those skis look sick

No brian, its elan who is putting out armadas under their name. i saw a guy riding them on blackcomb.

these definetly aren't ar5s, you can see by just looking at the shape of them, tips, and sidecut

yeah i know, their patent is pretty much useless if you think about it, because they would definatley lose more money then they would gain, but i guess they have the patent because its kind of like braggin rights?

yeah i thought it was a sick comercial and i like that a company like fischer is recongnizeing freesking. so even if line created the first true twin tip does it really matter?

You guys all have your information incorrect. Fischer produced the worlds first symmetrical ski in BOTH sidecut dimensions (114-84-114) as well as flex pattern. This means the ski has the same flex from the midsole to the tip and the midsole to the tail. No other ski company has done this before. This is what makes the addict a "real twin tip", not only in sidecut but in flex. Majority of people bashing the product have never seen or skied it i would bet, let alone know about the flex pattern and materials used to build the ski. These features make the ski what it is. Maybe we should all wait until the ski test results come out this fall to see how it does?

But you dont want your skis to be symmetrical back to front. You distribute your weight differently when riding switch, so theres no need for your tails to be exactly like your tips. I would rather ski something that had been designed to be stable and snappy when the weight was distributed differently that skis that are just the same back and front.

ok I dont wanna get into you guys' arguement or take sides or anythin, but dont hate because of grammar on ns dude it's not like it actually portrays his intelligence
