Alright I didn't see any other threads on these skis for some reason so I was wondering what the deal was. I was reading through the Freekskier buyers guide while on the toilet and I saw what a good rating these skis got. The last sentence of the review actually says "Buy it." But did anyone actually try/buy them. I've only found them for sale on one site for like around $400, and I'm interested to leanr what happened with these.

in a 186 they sound like they would a be a sick do everything ski.

Yea and it was on the editors quiver in freeskier and said "One of the best skis of 2006." I wonder what happened.

they are amazing, i have the kehaus, which are 177 and use them as a one ski quiver, the reason you don't hear about them on here is because there areno problems with them, and fischer is not the most common company. i did have and edge blowout last weekend from hitting a rock in a chute, but that was after 63 days, many of the involving rails, and there is minimal rail damage to show for it, if you looked at my skis, you might think that i've hit some rocks and never tuned the edges (which is true), i'm trying to warrenty them now, and maybe upgrade to the atua and get a park ski now that i have the money saved up.

The Atua is the 3rd from the right and the kehua is the 4th.

I have ridden the Atua for quite some time and I think it is a terrific ski. I am living i Chamonix and it is awesome to use in practically any conditions. The only thing I am a bit concerned with is the graphics. They are not exactly a masterpiece of art.
