i am 5ft 5 in and i weigh 110lbs. i ski all mountain but mostly park which ski suits me better. cuz i am goin to get one or the other

wow this is gonna do u alot of good

but if u want to have some info to base ur decision off of

go to each website and read about them

they will tell you what kind of ski they are and if they are right for you

Take a look at the homepages of Fischer and Atomic.

Note! The Atomic has wrong sidecut values on the homepage:

the correct one: 175cm 107-85-107, 166cm 106-85-106

Weights: Atomic Urban 175cm -> 1690g (one ski)

Addict 172cm -> 1720g (one ski)

The Urban is very flexy like voelkl dogen.

yeah, but there was a problem with most of the guys down here that rode them this season, the inner edge seperated from the base. but apart from that i heard they were sweet

i just bought last years triplets in 172 with atomic neox bindings. if you wait about 2 or 3 weeks i will let you know how i like them. I bought them as my secondary ski to the gotamas, for the days that there is no new snow.

i had the urban trips last year as well, not a single problem, and i did work them hard. the edges were perfect, and i didn't have the inner rail probelm at all, even when i did get a pretty good shot right next to them.

triplets are pretty damn soft. prolly on par with invaders. addicts are a bit stiffer, which is a nice change fo a true twin. they definatly arnt 2X4s, but they are a lil more meaty. for your size and weight thou, you might be better off with the atomics. id say, if you favor jumps, get the Addicts, rails, triplets.

i tried the addicts this winter, they were really good.. i didnt get to do any jumps or anything since i tried them at night skiing and then the park is closed exept from a sucky QP. but they were really fun to ski.. I usualy ski ar5's, i coudlnt do tail/nose presses as easy, but it was real easy to spin around with them, could easy do cab 3's and cab tailpress 5's (not so much tailpress tough:P) out difrent places.. also tried to do a few cab 5's in the QP but that didnt work at all:P bailed like a cocksucker at the bottom:P

I dont know how the atomics is, but i know i wouldnt cry if i had the addicts;) only thing i didnt like was that i felt they where pretty stiff

nope, triplets r 111-84-104 while addicts r 114-84-114. get the addicts if u want to land switch that much easier. plus, you can mount the addict whatever direction u want, kinda cool. plus, addicts r mad inexpensive at 400 bucks, they're bases look sicknasty, and the white topsheet is killer. only prob with addicts is butters, they're stiff and heavy, but the atomics already have rails to make them stiff, too, so both aren't exactly the best for butters. and the name addict, pure genius

First off,you can mount the triplets anyway way you want they are real twin tips. you can mess up a lot with the grahics (27 different graphic combination i think...)

Secondo, Triplets arestuiff as hell under teh boot for good landings but they have a flinge on both tips an tails to make butters an presses easier.

Finally, i dont know what your talking about with landing switch that much easier... but anyway I,ve seen fakie cliffdrops with triplets soi think they can handlefakie landings with no problem. Ever heard of the STACK'S stomp...

picked up my 05/06 triplets today. I got all black for both skis in regard to graphics, to match the all black gotamas. i got them for 200 for a pair. they look pretty good, and durable like most atomics. the bases are hard as hell and these cannot be mounted either way because of the fact that there are 3 rivots in the tip and not in the tail. I am guessing the 06/07's are different though.

i have skied both and i have decided to tickle your fancy and give you my un depth review:

triplets:

i love these skis, but the big problem is there are 3 of them.

THREE.

fuck.

i find one, and i think, holy shit, what happened to the other? then i think, HOLY SHIT! THIS IS MY EXTRA!

but still, that fucking moment of confusion drives me up the wall.

let me tell about their selling points though: they have graphics on the top and bottom. they have ALL METAL high strength steel edges. and ALOT of them. they also have really sweet pros who ski for the company that makes them.

also, i like skis with manlier names that a little ghetto, like "Fujative" i mean, think about it, a fugitive is a criminal, and fujative is a play on the word fugitive.

which brings me to the ADDICT.

addict

holy shit, is this an awesome ski. there are many AWESOME skis out there, but this is the AWESOMEST.

first of all, fischer's logo looks amazingly like a triforce, which is the coolest thing ever.

second of all, fischers make skis with twin tips.

third of all there are no kids that i respect with fischer skis, which makes me THE LONE FUCKING WOLF.

boo yah.

fourthly there is too much bullshit in the skiing industry about being politically correct. NOT WITH FISCHER. they have made a ski marketed for young people (a highly impressionable group) and gave it an edgy name like ADDICT.

fifth: there is a rock and rolling band called The Adicts. they dont spell their name the same way, but seriously, rock and roll skiing is the greatest.

666: the number of the beast. the triplet holds an edge better than any other ski out there. i have layed down some big fat carves on like really steep icy slopes at the best resort in CALIFORNIA, BEAR VALLEY. they have steep runs, and the triplet, BOOM, holds an edge.

uh, dimensions? symmetrical tip to tail consitutes much more versatility than a biased tip and tail dimension. thus, if a, let's take the addict's as an example, have so specified tip or tail because the ski is completely symmetrical, it is much more versatile than a ski with a tip which is wider than the tail, hence the argument that the triplets are not true-twins and the addicts are. if you really need me to explain this in any more detail, let me know, otherwise i'll asume your not dumb enough to need that.

actually the triplets are synmetrical just pick up a pair and you'll see, there is no tip or tail on the ski, you can mount them both ways.

magasines messed up the dimension of the skis. IO think i know about it since I've been skiing on this ski for a season and have a pair sitting right next to me.

im not dumb.. im french lol
