FIS makes dinner roll worth something

guess what? Moseley should have won another gold in Salt Lake. But you already knew that; FIS just woke up late... again. According to FREEZE in the Jan issue interview with jonny, FIS now has the dinner roll (corked 7) as the most difficult mogul trick. Supposedly, with this scoring change, moseley would have another gold. Says moseley, 'It makes me want to piss all over... It's no surprize that they change it now.'

 
Wow, FIS still sucks though, so does the name 'dinner roll' he could have just said it was a cork 7

 
that sucks. He deserved that gold. He would have gotten the gold anyway but his trick required so much air it slowed down his time.

There is nothing motherly about mother nature. Except for her big mountainous breasts.
 
He didnt desreve the gold, it was the ugliest run in the olympics. The dinner roll was kickass but you win by skiing, not jumping.

Ya, JM did the dinner roll with ease but his run was one of the slopiest. He lost his skill in the mougles and if he plans on going back to the olympics to win, he should improve both aspects of his run. But its nice to see that fis is scroing the airs more apropreatly

I totally agree with both of you, a cork7 in moguls requires a lot of skills but his skiing wasn't at the level of others...

 
Sweet!! now mogul skiers can do other tricks beside dafys and twisters and other gay tricks like that. I hope next skiers can go inverted.

 
moseley SKIED really well in his salt lake run. fuck you if you say different. i agree that the dinner roll (and yeah i hate that name too, it's a corked 7) may have slowed him down, and that probably kept him off of the podium, but his turn scores rocked if i remember correctly.

the best news out of this is that a door has been opened for progression in mogul skiing once again, by moseley.

 
its not a fucking dinner roll...mosely said himself. ok, he told everyone he was going to do a dinner roll...but since it threw him to the side too much, he decided not to do it. and the non-ski public only heard dinner roll. so its a cork 7. never, and i mean never call the trick he did in the olympics a dinner roll. because it is not even close.

yes, that is right...but what he did was cork 720..now if he woulda done a grab in it also...that would have been hella dope

You gotta give him credit, cause i doubt anyone of u can ski both moguls and freestyle in so short of time and as well as him. That is all.

JM skied the mougles like crap, his legs were all over the place, he was hella slow, and his turns were ugly as hell. He might have got an ok score in turns but there is no way he skied as well as the other riders down the mougle run. His are was really nice and way more tech than anyone elses. I thought he would atleast break the rules a little and do somthing new like a rodeo or somthing. Go inverted and push the sport further. THe 'corked 7' was pushing it hella hard but everyone knew he could do it. I was waiting to be suprised.

i told no one to dis moseley's turns. there is a reason. they were good. go watch the fucking replay before u make any more stupid comments. how did you expect to be more surprized anyhow? the man nailed the jump he said that he would. he pushed the envolope and promted FIS to give credit where it is due.

and thanks for clearing up the name on the corked 7.

a dinner roll is a corked 7. its a 720 about the time you eat dinner, corking it is the roll. hence dinner roll.
