First year

Been skiing since I was little, never really been interested in park.Just wondering what most people accomplished in their first year and what some goals I should set for myself. Also, sorry if there are other threads on this.

Good goals would be to get comfortable doing all four 360s and 180s, both ways 270 out, switchups, switch ons, etc. once you get comfortable spinning in the air, try grabbing your spins and try 540s. last year was my first ever year skiing, and that what I accomplished, so it should be a slightly easier task for you.

The first thing you should learn are 180's and sliding sideways on a flat box. Thats what I did.

this is my first year too, i have learned 2 on, 2 off, 1's, and 3's...just learned some stuff on rails yesterday

I learned 3s rails, boxes, 270 out. I don't even spend that much time in the park so its easy to advance quicly

it all depends on you, if you commit and are ok with knowing you might fall a few times before you get it down, then your going to progress alot faster.

If you are motivated to learn it shouldn't take the whole season. I was just out there having fun and friends would suggest I try new stuff, so I did and most of the time it worked.
