So I'm finally getting out of my town and going off to college this Saturday. I've got a week of orientation and fun before classes start. Who all is as stoked for their first year as me? When does everyone start?

YEAH!...nervous but stoked for sure...

I leave the 27 for a week long orientation before classes start...

I'm gonna be a little over 3 hours away in boston which is saweeeetttt.

Where are you going?

Purdue Uni. Its a little over 3 hours from me but this is just the first step. I plan on transferring further away after the first year unless I absolutely love it.

Start my first year at the U of U in 9 days! Really really stoked. Already met my roommate and such and he's a dope skier. It's gonna be a good year.

so stoked for sophmore year. freshman year was a blast though

i move into my house on september 4th

Western washinton mafugga!

i really cant wait. this is my last week of work then i take off two weeks before i head off to plymouth state university. im so stoked on it, its gunna be werid meeting new kids. i have lived in the same town my whole life and grew up with the same kids since i was 5. plus i get to ride aton. and a 4 mtn pass for 280 bills

Im not even going to school and i am more pumped then all of you. I am in the electrical union, so im not a bum. But, all of my friends are going to different schools. So out of the 10 or 15 friends that i plan on visting, I have like 8 different schools to go party and chill at. I have the smaller local school, all the way up to The Penn State University and Temple in Philly. So while all of them are wasting their money on school, I will be making mad money, and still partying the college lifestyle.

If your alright with doing that for the rest of your life that's perfect for you, but to call out everyone for wasting their money on school is lame. College is the new high school and is a necessity for a lot of jobs.

First year was way fun, but i have a feeling the second year is gonna be so fuckin sick.

i am goin off to my first year at a college 20 minutes from my house. staying at resedents. wicked excited.

My first year of college I dropped out 1st semester. Wanted to switch programs. It's such a new experience and really makes you think whether or not you want to keep your program and make a carreer out of it

I know you need college for everything. i respect everyone out there, furthering their education. But, school just isnt for me. So, making a lot of money and doing something that you enjoy while you get paid for On the job training, seems like a sweet deal to me. I was just saying, im gonna get paid, learn a skill, and still party like a champ, and not miss out on the college experience.

Word I'm going into my 3rd at MSU as well. Pretty excited tho I'm kinda nervous cause I met a girl in my hometown and I'm not so sure how the distance thing is going to play out yet.

How far is home? My girlfriend lives at home, which is an hour away. We've been going out 3 years now, but we had been together for a year before going off to school, so that might make a difference. We see each other just about every weekend and take turns going home/coming to state. It's worked out pretty well so far.

you're not "partying the college lifestyle" at all. and while you may be making "mad money," my college apartment prob blows your place out of the water. sorry to be a dick, but going to college isn't wasting money at all.

chapel glenn is by far the best dorm to live in. sage point is legit but wayy far from everything.

oh and enjoy the food at the HC that shit SUCKS

I stayed in Gateway for orientation and the rooms were HUGE. Are Chapel's the same size? I'm hoping so.

And ya, we ate at HC.... ugh

Good milk though.
