so for the summer I've decided to take up the sport of BMX to kill time until next ski season. And so far everyone says that I'm progressing in the sport faster than any of them will ever
 
Nah I'm more into the extreme sports kinda deal. And it's pretty sweet cause all the kids I ride with said it would take like a year to learn to spin and now I can do like 270's

yeah the higher you lift the front end up the higher you'll bunny hop, and when you lift the front end up tuck your ass so the back end will follow
 
are you pulling up on the pedals too?

you gotta like have your feet angled foreward alot and be pushing back against them hard with your legs. then after pulling up on the front suck your legs up (still gotta be pushing against those pedals). if you cant get the hang of it try riding along and just pulling the back of the bike up with your pedals.

If you cant grip your pedals get some new platform pedals with good pins or replace the pins in your existing ones if youv got them
 
its all about pointing your toes down to grip the pedals.

omfg, i have been trying to bunny hop forever. I mountain bike a lot jsut around my huse and i was never able to get it. yes! omg im so happy. I thought you jsut had to like pull up on the bars but you like lean foward like ollieing on a skateboard. wow im so happy, thank you so much, now i can start bmxing and this is gunna improve my mountain biking so much
 
yea i just learned one a few days ago.. i just wellie then like jump and push the front down. it does take strength tho, and im buuilt like a moterfuckin brick wall. 6'1" 145lbs. jea
