First US Ski Team fight?

Have any people within the industry ever gotten into a physical confrontation? Maybe members of teams? People who you don't have a say in sharing A LOT of time with?
 
wouldn't be surprised if tanner has. I heard he used to do some grimey shit in that basement of his. haven't you seen his nudies?
 
that was friggin amazing he won. But his run had no dubs, it's not xgames, and the weather was awful. He's not fully back...yet.
 
I was at the downstairs when these call outs went down. All i ever heard (besides him hitting the dj horn over and over again) was nothing but big ups to all the other big names in the game.
 
This is why Tanner is till one of my favorite skiers he is a true personalty and says whats on his mind.

And I would vote LJ for president any day!

the more tanner just says his mind and tells people what the fuck is up, the more repect i gain for him. He honestly doesnt care what others think of him, and lets that mentality show through. respect for t-hall

Tanner is the man! He speaks his mind! So does TYW. I dont know why anyone is surprised by Tanners antics. It is who he is. Would he be better received if he didnt speak from the heart? Probably. I know many people who are this way. (speak their mind regardless if it brings hate/negativity) The bottom line is that if this rustles ur jimmies then you have the problem not them. The more fuel we add to the fire the more negativity it spreads and the more it degrades our community. I think that being an ambassador to skiing is a privilege. Just because you are given the privilege does not require you to honor it. Just because Tanner doesnt always take advantage of it doesnt make him a bad guy or a good guy, it just makes him Tanner. He is a legend, he is still innovating, proving people wrong, doing Tanner. He stays true to him always. If you dont like it you dont have to. Its not a debate.
 
Tanner is a huge douche, don't think there's much disagreement in that regard. However, Tony Alva was a douche, Jay Adams was a douche. and those guys revolutionized skateboarding. Tanner is skiings equivalent of those guys to some extent I would say.
 
It is my opinion that Tanner Hall has done more to make modern terrain park skiing the dopeness that it is today than anyone else. Growing up watching that dude innovate in movies, wow. He really can say anything he wants (and will say anything he wants judging from his track record. haha)

 
At some point in the near future, myself, along with other members of the Ski Team and mentally stable people in general will be look back at this stuff and laugh. I can speak for Torin and Walter, we are all having a blast never knowing which one of us he will bash next. Exciting times! So funny there is a thread on this. Absolutely love newschoolers.com
