Which hill in the area u think is gounna open first? I think it will be brule in the U P orr Granite peak... what yalll think?

Brule always opens first, which I like cause its not too far of a drive from Marquette, and opening day is always free. Ive gone every opening day in the past 3 years ive lived in marquette.. and i plan on making this year the fourth.

the 4 i think that will open earlyer then any one else in the midwest in no order of course.

1. Ski Brule (I remember skiing there the first friday in November years ago)

2. Wild Mountain

3. Tyrol Basin (they always have something up there sleeves)

4. Sunburst

Brule will be first followed by Wild but keep an eye on Sunburst, they trippled their pumphouse power and they've increased the aeration in their ponds to cool the water temp. It's one thing to be 28 outside but if the water in the pond is still 40 you've got issues, aeration helps cool the water temp considerably. If Sunburst was further north I would give them the nod this year. My guess, all these places will open on Thursday Nov 13, Brule opening at 9 am will get the claim, while Sunburst will wait until 4

god thatd be tight if sunburst opened that early. i only live lik 45 mins north... god i hope so

i wish i lived closer to those places....welch won't open till atleast thanksgiving because its all about "quality skiing" usually afton gets open the second weekend in november so i'll hit that up for sure
