im going out to utah this year and i was thinking about trying some cliffs, every year i go backcounrty skiing but ive never gone off cliffs. is there any special way of doing it?

start small, spot landinds (rocks), keep arms out front, keep weight somewhat centered and go in with at least a little speed so you're not just falling off of the damn thing.

hate to be a downer, but unless we some more snow u wont be dropping too many cliffs

be sure to check out your landing...that's what'll fuck you up the most. also, dont think about it too much...just do it. the more you think about it the more you get yourself psyched out...just be sure to be smooth about it, dont force the jump or start flailing in the air

carry some speed too, cause ive seen so many little kiddies stop at the top of a cliff and then jump off it, thats how you fuck yourself over, also try to keep your knees bent at 90 degrees

no matter ho much you shake and dance, three drops always end up in your pants

don't lean back awhole lot like you see the guys do in movies to land in deep pow. If the landings are harder, cuz there's no snow, leaning back will blow you ACL. Stay centered.
