First time BMX buyer

Wudup, looking to buy my first BMX. I have been mountain biking for a while but i wanna try out BMX can anyone recommend a bike for less than 300 or a good place to buy BMX. Also what is buying a bmx online like, im assuming you have to pay crazy shipping fees.

Make sure it has a 3 piece crank, pref sealed. Lots of ahit bikes have 3 pieces now but you know anything with a 1 piece crank Is def something you don't want. Might find something on cl cheap?

One piece cranks are lighter.

I'm not going to pretend i know a lot about bikes, however my kink bike came stock with a one piece, and it was a pro-model/ one of my favorite bikes i have ever owned

I guess i'm just saying that the crank wouldn't be the deciding factor of whether i'd buy a certain bike or not.
