thank fucking god this shit is over. you couldnt turn on a damn tv in Canada without hearing 50 hours of the same fucking coverage of this tournament that nobody else gives a shit about.

agreed but i think usa will get raped in the olympics, just because everyone left for their home teams, i really hope sweeden and canada do well in the olympics

I am in so much pain right now.

my dad was like "oh well, it's good for hockey if the candians don't win." made me so fucking angry and then jordan eberle comes back and scores twice like the fucking champ that he is. I went a little insane.

I just feel shitty now.
 
cut the hockey is OUR sport shit. nobody cares.

hockey is an international sport. its played in many different countries. players from many different countries are good at hockey. not just canadians.
 
95% of the americans posting probably can't name 3 players off the top of their head, Canada still has what 15 more World Junior titles so who cares
 
Have so much respect for that American team. I am crushed my boys lost, but we got an amazing game out of both sides. So much talent and energy in these players.

oh well, we'll give this one to the americans. they got lucky. its gonna be another 5 years (at least) of Canadian domination anyways.
 
The defensive display by Canada in both games against the American team was absolutely horrid. Then there was the goalie who totally bricked it in the final. I'm not surprised that we lost.
FFS it totally disgusts me every time we lose in hockey.
 
i agree and what i said wasn't suppose to be an insult to you.or be derogatory. i was just stating my opinion as well.

that said many of my favorite players are canadians. and i understand that hockey plays a huge part in canadian life i just think its dumb/ignorant to claim the sport as OURS.
 
Oh, and a massive FUCK YOU goes out to all you flippy floppy, plastic American 'fans'.
And if it wasn't for the relative quality of hockey this tournament would be jokes. Most of the players goes on to have very mediocre NHL careers.
 
no matter who won (go USA) the thing that impressed me most was the talent on both teams during the two times they played each other this tournament. so many of these players will be in the nhl the next 2-3 years. their stick skils and speed were amazing

Canadian needs to shut the fuck up about hockey. no other country gives half the shit that canadians do and its fucking annoying. i hate watching TSN or whatever (canadian ESPN) and seeing hockey on sportscentre for the first 25/30 minutes.

Great game overall. The intensity was pretty nuts. ESPECIALLY when Canada came back from two goals. People on both sides are getting quite annoying with their responses.
 
thats funny because many of the canadian posts just seem like they are entitled to know more about hockey than anyone else because your from canada. people from other countries play hockey too, and can "name more than 3 players."

 
duh... but hockey is our thing. Just like you Americans have your guns, baseball, big cities, more than one basket ball team, black president, funny presidents, warm weather, mexico ( you've got that now right) and Twinkies. We have maple syrup, beer and hockey. Leave us the one thing that you Americans can't consume.
