First thing you did after getting your License

After months of waiting, I just got my license today. I have yet to go drive on my own which brings me to ask, What was the first thing you did after getting your license?
 
Got Burger King, then raced my friend down the big one way in our city. He had also just got his licence and yes it was stupid.. stupidly fun. But yeah in all honesty you probably don't want to race people the day you get your licence.
 
drove out to the reservoir like 35 min away from my house by myself. lol looking back it wasn't as cool as i thought it was then.
 
drove and got my hair cut. I just remember how unsatisfying driving by myself was after waiting so long to be able to do it.
 
I went to swim practice. Then for at least a week I took any and every opportunity to do errands for my parents just so I could go drive more.
 
If all goes well I'll have mine the 4th, I'm already 3 months behind so I can't wait.

I'll probably drive home first, but then I'll drive to whatever ski area is still open as soon as possible.
 
Tossed a hockey net on top picked up my buddy and played some roady at the lacrosse box. That was my full license though and that was just the other day. The first thing I did with my L (must be accompanied by an adult) was go for a drive with my dad and learn rules of the road first hand.
 
I think I went to gamestop to buy a new game, it was so nice not having my mom drive me haha
 
kid in my grade drove with his permit alone and killed a guy no joke i can link the news article it was across the street from Shake Shack bergers in my town
 
I was in 10th grade I picked up three of my friends in my mom's minivan and we blasted biggie with the windows down.
 
Pretty funny story actually. After my parents made me wait 8 extra months to get my license because I was such a nut and they didn't trust me behind the wheel just yet, I finally got my license, dad let me borrow his car for my first night, I got 4 tickets (was driving on the other side of a back road and goign head on towards a cop car while passing my friend at 88 mph in a 40), drove home, told my parents, they took my license away from me for another 8 months. I got to drive one night out of the year and a half I should've been driving regularly haha.
 
I drove around a bit and then went to school the next day. I left extra early because I knew I would stall every time I stopped at a light.
 
I bought a car, my dad drove me to collect it and I had to drive the 40 mins home on my own. I was crazy scared and didn't know how to put the car into 5th gear so drove most of the way doing 30mph in a 50mph. Got home, went to the store for my mom then spent the next month driving my friends everywhere and anywhere they wanted (like Krispy Kreme at 2am).
 
Hooked up a casset tape with a cord for my Ipod and drove around listening to my favorite tunes, and it was raining like crazy so I plowed through some HUGE ASS puddles on the side of the road.
 
drove home.then the next day I drove my friends to the mall. I have an early birthday so I was one of the first kids in our grade to get it. early birthday is dope
