I don't know much about cameras but here's my two cents. I liked the edit and I think the song fit in well with the vibe you seemed to aim for. You know what/how to film it seems so maybe you just need to get your colors and all that shit down a little better. Do you have magic lantern? It was also nice and stabile, what did you use for stability?
I do not have magic lantern yet. I plan on getting it soon though. Also this was all just shot handheld I used an eyepiece so that helped keep it more stable.
Overused song. Angels were good. there were a lot of head cuts. Try to film more lines when filming skateboarding. And if you are going to keep filming skateboarding i would look into a decent fish eye.
i thought it was a very good edit but 2 things stood out to me. there was to much times where the head wasnt showing. only the body was. also, there was a little too much slow mo at some points but overall very good edit
Okay thanks everyone +k. I am going to invest in a fisheye soon I just switched to dslr filming and sold all my old camera stuff so I don't have a fisheye at this point.
Love it so far! Its really fun too film with too. I got mine off ebay used in excellent condition for 500 bucks for just the body though. I already have a couple lenses because my sister does photography with her t1i.
no worries, i can see why you thought that. i was bummed about the lack of a zoom rocker or something at first too, but i definitely feel like the lack of zooming has made me think a lot more about composition.
