First Switch Up

congrats bro, good for you. keep working at it and take it to the real thing in a couple months. But also, next time post your video in the video section

surprised you did your first switchups on a thin pvc rail, i would have gotten my shit rocked if i tried my first ones on that....

sick setup. But wrong place for vid but that would look way more stylish without skinny's only snowboards wear the skinny's lol.

I think you could have pretzel 270-outed a few of those. Keep working on it man. But yeah, next time go with the vids section.

Sorry I thought that this would sorta fall under skiing so I decided I would share with the world >.< I'll post in the video section next time don't worry.

haha, I have to say, this is the first sign of winter approaching, someone posts something in the completely wrong section and NO HATE!!! GET STOKED!!! WINTER IS ON IT'S WAY!!!

I was trying to show that I can actually do the trick and show that it wasn't a fluke. I admit they aren't great swaps but still I just wanted to have proof I can do sketchy ones. I'm working on making them look not so gay so don't worry. And next time I won't post a video so don't worry.

work on bending your knees more and leaning forward when you switch up. keep working on them they looked good!

im thinking some pretty dank breakfast sandwiches with bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with some hot sauce and maybe a hash brown

those are looking pretty good for your first ones. the only advice i'd give you is try coming out switch after the switch up, that way you'll get it all the way around, and then can later learn combos like k-feds and stuff
and personally i think it looks steezier if you come out switch on a short rail

Thats pretty cool, and to the guy who said he learned backside switchups first I did as well and I don't think they are any harder.

i get that your stoked but is making a thread necisary? wouldnt you see a million threads people have made if they made a thread on every trick they learned.....

im surprised at the low level of hate here, its awesome. i almost did a sw up on that same setup

Thanks for all the help this will make me get way better and helps me understand what to do better thanks again for all the serious responses

No, I agree. Skinny pants are for girls. Not just in skiing, but in life in general.

Fair enough if you are riding a bike or skateboard though, getting huge jeans tangled in chains/wheels sucks.

nice switch up positioning(setting up for it)
but u come out straight and that look gay for a normal front switch up
but no hate

yeah, try to continue your rotation after the front swap to switch. it will make it look less forced and overall cleaner. also try some backside swaps, in my opinion they look nicer and they are more fun
