FIRST SNOW!

wasn't able to post till now. Gaurdsman was open. They just stop winter maintenance at a certain point. Saw the Traveling Circus van up there. Some snowboarders had some rails up there. Sessioned a really short flat pvc rail for a while. Saw some other skiers on the way out, don't know if it was anyone from here or not.

It seemed like there was about 6-8 inches up there and I know they are supposed to get more. If you didn't make it up today, tomorrow should be pretty good too.

I went up and sessioned a bit below the gate from the PC side. Found out that the status of the roads are posted on UDOT's site under "Seasonal closures." There was a pretty good amount of snow, will be going up tomorrow evening hopefully

oh yeah, I forgot about this earlier.

Cops were very active up there. Anytime I was at my car, they were rolling by. They dont want to see any litter or rails left up there. They took the names of a bunch of people up there and threatened to give $700 fines if stuff was left up there. So make sure youre not leaving trash and stuff up there.

Brighton was the place to be today. Probably about 60 people up there at the session at one point.

Posted up near Solitude as I still have employee buds there. Put in my back yard rail. It was a good time. Might do some fucked up rock skiing tomorrow in the foot of snow there will be in total.

But yeah, my friend does management for the Forest Service up there and they took out roughly 800 pounds of garbage and rails and other shit after last season so they are ratcheting up enforcement. Don't be an asshole, don't litter, and take your rails home or suffer the consequences and fuck it up for the rest of us.

What was the setup like at Brighton?
