here in Ak we get are first snows in town in early-mid october, and at my mountain it snows at the top in september. it doesnt open until thanksgiving though

The earliest snow ive seen in anchorage(hometown)

was september 23 afew seasons ago, it snowed a foot

so i said to her 'look baby,i'm not saying your not beutifal, i'm just not sure my man in there wants to pay for it'

 
ussually in mammoth we get snow in august or september for the first time. i ussualy get to jib rails from september on. but the mountain opens around the 9th of nov.

it snowed in davis for the first time in 10 years or so in january. maybe if it wasn't at 7 in the morning we coulda gone out and set up a rail. I took one look outside, was like 'cool. I'm goin back to sleep'

yo, in ontario we usually get our first snow in early october... but nothing stays till like early december... hills open up sometime in december usually, and stay open till about the end of march. giving us a 3.5 month ski season and a 8.5 month off season. but that's just an average. sometimes we don't open up till x-mas and close down like mid march (march break) giving us under 3 months of skiing.

YAY, GO ONTARIO GO!!! this place is a shit hole.

Hmm in indiana the fake snow starts usually decemberish, but this year we didn't open until after xmas, one historic year it was snowing on halloween (my bday =) ) and we opened in november... ahh the good ol days.

 
yea we open like mid november but it always takes forever to get the park up and going..sucks

 
This year our first huge dump was at the very end of May, but the North Island lost most of it. Then we got enough to open the whole country through June and just last week and this week there's been about 1.5 to 2 meters fall everywhere, huuuge dumps, it just isn't stopping, haha.

usually we get flurries in late september, but accumulating snow doesnt start til early november. The mountain usually opens in the 2nd week of november
